Former Libertarian Party of Michigan Vice-Chair Kim McCurry’s Criticism of My Sincere Defense of Libertarian National Committee Vice-Chair Arvin Vohra

Former Libertarian Party of Michigan Vice-Chair Kim McCurry (maiden name being Moore) recently criticized my post defending Libertarian National Committee Vice-Chair Arvin Vohra. She took issue with the fact that I wrote a Facebook post on May 16 of this year, which was tied to her FB post which was about the following:

Bill Denton continues:

Of course, this next screenshot says it all about what McCurry and her allies have said months ago:

Notice Kim’s statement in which she comes off demanding to her readers and admits she’s a “conservative libertarian” who wants “social issues out of the LP”:

In the same week, I wrote my Facebook post in the following manner:

I ended up changing the first part of my post to assuage McCurry, but now I realize it was a waste of my time because she backstabbed me on there by having a discussion targetting me behind my back as well as every principled purist in the Libertarian Party.

I think you get the point anyway.

I also had a brief response to Kim as well. This is what the exchange on Facebook went:

It’s sad when you have the former state vice chair of a political party shit on you for the reasons outlined in the screenshots. But then that’s politics for you, especially Libertarian politics.

CONCLUSION

The painfully, ugly reality is this: Kim McCurry was doing her very best to minimize the attacks made against Arvin Vohra over his anti-military comments. She kept telling me that I was in the wrong, that Arvin’s comments had nothing to do with various members who were leaving the Libertarian Party when that was *TRULY* the case. She kept justifying their reasons for their departure by stating that my comments and Arvin’s statements had nothing to do with their leaving and that their decision to say “sayonara” to the Party was due to issues that allegedly had nothing to do with Arvin at all – an argument that I don’t buy and never have bought at all. Moreover, it’s an argument that I WILL NEVER BUY!!!

The problem is this: when you have conservatarians in the Party, they will water down its principles. When conservatarians try to inject social conservatism into the Party’s own political tent, they almost immediately turn the Party into a near carbon copy of their original political organization – in this case, the Republican Party.

Libertarians who want to win elections need to win them and preserve their principles – a lesson that even Ron Paul‘s very own Penny Langford Freedom told Adam Kokesh on his radio show Adam vs. the Man. Libertarian political campaigns are not, should not, and must never be organized and launched to educate the masses about liberty and its spectacular benefits. If people wanted to be educated about liberty and libertarianism, they would read a book on it or take courses in it at, say, the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Libertarian campaigns function for one purpose – and one purpose – only: to win and to enact policies from a strong Libertarian standpoint. They’re not set up to entertain the masses and tell people what the candidates and their supporters want to hear.

That doesn’t mean we reject the nonaggression principle. On the contrary, the NAP should be followed to the letter. To do that you can join the Libertarian and sign the pledge (which is the heart and soul of that principle) and pay your $25. That’s what it was designed for. But when it comes to winning elections you must tailor your message to placate the masses and, if you win and if elected, enact legislation and other policies that would bring about that Libertarian spirit.

That’s what Arvin had in mind. That’s what I had in mind. It’s too bad, however, that Kim McCurry and her legions of followers don’t have that in mind.

My Resignation as Campaign Manager from the Joy Waymire for President 2016 Campaign

It’s no secret that I’ve been involved in Libertarian politics for the longest time. My earliest memory dates back to the fall of 1999 when I first joined the Libertarian Party to get involved in third party politics, including embracing the ideals, tenets, and philosophy of libertarianism. When I first joined the Party, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to be involved in political campaigns, to spread the message and philosophy of libertarianism, and to educate the public on the definition of and convictions of the freedom message because it was powerful, unique, strong, and stellar, unlike the (progressive) liberal and conservative philosophies that have guided their own movements. As time went on, from 1999 throughout the Aughts, I became a champion of libertarian (and Libertarian) ideals that none of the major parties – the Republican and Democratic Parties – shared at all and that a new revolution was on the verge of launching before the American people’s eyes.

Since June 5, 2015, I was asked by Libertarian presidential candidate Joy Waymire to be her campaign manager. For months I worked with Joy to bring support for as well as supporters into her campaign, and it hasn’t been a very simple task, considering I was uncertain how much support she was receiving, and that had never been made available to me. But I was honored, eager, and anxious to be her campaign manager, despite the fact that I was completely and utterly wet behind the ears and didn’t know what I was walking into.

With all of those points in mind, here’s what I posted on my Facebook profile, officially announcing my resignation as her campaign manager after I privately emailed my resignation to her.

This is what I posted:

Joy subsequently posted a response to what I posted by issuing the following:

I will be her campaign manager again in 2020, and I hope the entire supporters and members will unite behind her if she wins the nomination….assuming no other candidate striking the Gary Johnson resemblance is running at that point.

2020, here we come!

Seros Family Restaurant in Chesterfield Township: The Food Sucks, and the Owner Is A Stupid Idiot

[This is taken from a Facebook post of mine. You can read it there as well! However, this is the uncensored, no-holds-barred version profanity-laced version of my review of tonight’s food. Some additions were made in one of the paragraphs, but anyway, take from it what you will.]

Meatloaf Price in Seros Family Restaurant Menu

Tonight my friend Jon and I went to Seros Family Dining on Gratiot Avenue and really close to 22 Mile Road in Chesterfield, Michigan. (Chesterfield is my hometown obviously.) I tried to eat healthy while we were there, and of course they usually don’t offer a lot of healthy choices, but that’s beside the point.

Jon ordered the meatloaf, while I had a chicken club sandwich. The food tasted like garbage. My meal tasted dry, and I had to either eat French Fries or a potato, which I chose to do neither because of the medication I’m on and the amount of fat and carbs in those things. The waitress, and I don’t remember her name, said I could get a salad, but they would have to “up-charge” the entire meal. I thought that was bullshit, so I made sure she didn’t get a tip. Asshole shithead of an owner he is!

After one bite of his meatloaf, Jon complained that the meatloaf was “gross,” that it was horrible. He said that the meat tasted like it was “Pureed.” Not only that, he said he refused to pay for a meal that tasted “like shit.” Jon told the waitress that he refused to pay for it. Then the waitress came back, saying that he must pay for it. Jon demanded to speak to the owner of the business. So this dickhead of a goddamn owner came over to him and demanded that he pay for his order or that he would “call the cops.” Why? Because it would be “stealing.” (Technically: he’s right, but why should anyone pay for a shitty meal especially when it’s a private business and the owner is supposed to answer to his customers, not the effing other way around.)

He went on, telling Jon off and saying that he “inspects” 50 pieces of meatloaf a day. (Sneezes: BULLSHIT! Yeah, right, fucking asshole, nice try! Try running a business without any customers!) This ungrateful motherfucker of an owner, who is from Greece, has grey hair, is a skinny little fuck, wears glasses, and whose own hair is in a ponytail, doesn’t know a thing about fucking customer service. Not only that, since Jon has never worked for the guy, the owner threatened to kick me and Jon out. Jon and I were pissed. I paid for my meal, although I was strong-armed into doing it.

Obviously this owner doesn’t give a shit about customer service. It’s no wonder why the restaurant had fewer than 4 customers in the establishment.

Either that asshole takes a good whiff of the shit he’s selling to his dwindling customer base or he’ll be out of business faster than he can put up a “for-sale” sign. If I weren’t a Libertarian or advocate of free private property rights and if I were a progressive, I’d call the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and they would take my word in a heartbeat and shut that asshole owner down. I will instead write an op-ed to the Bay Voice, objecting to the shitty food service and the fact that the owner threatened to “call the cops” on us if we didn’t leave his restaurant.

As customers, we don’t answer to people like that. I am tempted to call the Health Department on his Greek-rioting ass, but I’d be a hypocrite to do exactly that.

I may or may not draft a letter providing details of that bullshit. How dare this owner pull that shit? How dare he?

I don’t like it when assholes like a Greek owner does that to his own customers. It’s a *REAL* shit hole.

I was forced to pay for my meal, but I will never go there again. I will keep spreading the word about how bad the quality of food at Seros has become.

Go to hell, Seros! Go to fucking hell!

Grade: F…..as in “epic fail!” and as in failure!!
