Reason and Reason TV‘s Editor-in-Chief Nick Gillespie appeared on limousine liberal comic Bill Maher‘s ludicrously humorless comedic/political talk TV show Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO in which he schooled Maher himself, Savage Lovecast podcaster and limousine liberal gay activist Dan Savage, and Ann Coulter on topics such as the reason for Donald Trump‘s nomination after his campaign win in Indiana, the United States’ vile xenophobic and jingoistic immigration policy favoring “legal immigrants” and opposing “illegal immigrants,” and so forth. Gillespie points out that the American populace overall is eschewing political parties in favor of more economic and social freedoms and succinctly points out how bad Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton truly are on their records.
Here’s Nick Gillespie versus Savage, Coulter, and Maher on the real libertarian stances that are the centerpieces of his arguments:
Coulter comes off “batshit crazy” like a loon on immigration, whereas Savage has a more persuasive and cogent argument to make than Coulter, stating that “illegal” immigrants pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits. That’s a libertarian argument that Gillespie and I have been pontificating all along, although Savage couches it as a Leftist position entirely.
Here’s another one with Gillespie, Savage, Coulter, Maher, and Emmy winning-actor and director Bryan Cranston have to say on the transgender bathroom issue, the Libertarian Party, and other issues.
Finally, here’s Gillespie, Maher, Coulter, Savage, and Cliffside Malibu CEO/head honcho Richard Tate on the drug czar and socialized medicine. Tate waxes lovingly on the White House‘s Office of Drug Control Policy, especially Drug Czar “Director” Michael Botticelli, which resulted in Nick’s response to him was the following:
Bill Maher’s HBO show is cardinally and purposely made for Leftists and *ONLY* for Leftists, not limousine conservatives (even the Trump variety of what you’d brand conservatives), and certainly libertarians. Although he does allow them on the air, he is an ass hat because he drinks the dumb liberal Kool-Aid, and swallows his liberalism whole as if it’s the gospel truth and only truth. Thankfully Nick Gillespie does his best setting the libertarian record straight with the Leftist gene pool.
But that’s what you expect from statist liberals. It’s as good as it gets.
